Section 1 has several options. The first option on this page allows you to register your domain name for multiple years. 2 is the default but can be changed.

The box with the yellow background allows you to add “Private Registration” to your domain name. Private Registration will keep SPAMMERS from getting your personal information including e-mail and physical address. This option is especially recommended if you used your home address in the previous step or if you want to keep your e-mail address private.

Next is “Auto-Renew” We strongly suggest you keep the default. If turned off you could loose your domain when it comes up for renewal.

Section 2 & 3 are optional and the defaults are just fine.

Section 4 allows you to customize your order or continue to checkout. For the purpose of this tutorial we are going to select the “No thanks. I’m ready to checkout.” If you want to add other options to your order, select the “Customize my order.” option.

Next, click on the orange and white "Continue" button near the bottom of the page.
